Atomic Dance Workshop Terms and Conditions

By allowing your child to take part in an Atomic Dance/ workshop you are agreeing to the following conditions.

1) You will drop off and collect your child to/from the workshop at the agreed times. Atomic Dance teachers cannot be held responsible for your child before or after the agreed upon times. In the event that you will be late to collect your child, you must notify us via phone or email. In the event of multiple late pick ups, Atomic Dance reserves the right to refuse entry to class.

2) Ensure your child is wearing suitable clothing including footwear, with hair tied back if long enough, and are free from injury and in good health. If your child is recently returning from injury or illness, you must speak to a health professional prior to joining a workshop.

3) Send your child to the workshop with a packed lunch, snacks and a full water bottle. This must be Nut free.

 4)  You must declare all relevant medical conditions or injuries during registration and keep us up-to-date should this change by emailing/calling us at - ellie@atomicdance.co.uk

5) If your child feels unwell or light-headed during the workshop, they must stop exercising immediately and request assistance from their teacher.

6) There is an element of risk when taking part in any physical activity. By enrolling in this workshop, you acknowledge that your child chooses to take part in the workshops at their own risk. Therefore, Atomic Dance and all teachers are not liable for any accidental injuries that may occur to your child before, during or after class.

7) If needed, First Aid care will be given to your child by their teacher. Any accidents/injuries will be communicated to you upon collection and an accident report will be written up.

8) Your child is able to go to the bathroom unaccompanied.

 9) Atomic Dance use photos or videos taken during class for advertising purposes. This includes but is not limited to, social media, on their website and on printed adverts. Photos or videos of your child may be used by Atomic Dance for advertising purposes. You must declare if you do not want your child to be photographed for marketing use, and keep us up-to-date should this change.

10) Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received. Paid for spaces will be given priority.

11)Any workshop your child misses due to illness or other commitments can be carried over as a credit to another workshop, if you notify us 48 hours before the workshop start date.

12) Atomic Dance teachers are all qualified dance educators. Please trust that decisions are always made based on what is deemed best for your child during class.

13) Your child will, at all times, be kind to all other students and teachers.

14) Your child will respect and listen to their teachers to the best of their ability.

15) In the unlikely event of any instances involving your child breaking terms; 13 or 14, you agree to partake in Atomic Dances Three Strike Policy: - 1st strike - A call to the parent/guardian of the involved child and explain the situation - a spoken apology from the child to the teacher or student will be expected. -2nd strike- An arranged a meeting with the parent/guardian of the involved child to try and resolve the matter. -3rd strike- The involved child will be removed from all Atomic Dance workshop on a temporary or permanent basis.

 

16)Atomic Dance reserve the right to remove from our programme, anyone who is found to be bullying, misbehaving or displaying disruptive behaviour.

 

 17) Your child is attending classes at their own risk, and Atomic Dance cannot be held responsible if your child gets ill after attending their class.

18)You must refrain from bringing your child to class if they have had any form of illness within 48 hours of the class.

19) If there are any workshops missed due to cancellations by Atomic Dance, we will offer a make-up session, or a refund.
